Andrew Schlegel
Prior to his current role, Andrew headed up the Commercial operating division, and served as FirstService Residential’s Vice President of Finance for seven years, where he was responsible for directing community association accounting and finance.
Andrew has more than 30 years of experience in financial services and real estate management. Prior to joining FirstService Residential, he worked in public accounting, banking and consulting services for Fortune 500 companies. He is an expert on a variety of Common Interest Development finance issues.
Arian Manalo, CMCA®, AMS®, CAM®
Arian Manalo is part of the California leadership team and directly oversees all Los Angeles area urban and high-rise communities. Arian brings 15 years of high-rise condominium management experience to her role at FirstService Residential. She started her career in property management at an iconic, luxury high-rise building in downtown Chicago. While in Chicago, Arian became an Assistant Vice President, successfully overseeing a portfolio of nine high-rise condominiums consisting of more than 2,100 units. Before relocating to California, Arian also managed a prominent Seattle high-rise.
Arian holds a CMCA® (Certification with the Community Association Manager) International Certification Board, the AMS® Designation (Association Management Specialist) with the Community Associations Institute (CAI) as well as the CAM® (Licensed Community Association Manager) with the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Division of Real Estate.
Catherine Santiago, CMCA®
Catherine is a seasoned certified general manager with years of experience managing Urban high-end/high-rise communities. As a leader and a teacher with an eye for upscale style and detail, she excelled in managing hospitality teams for years. Catherine will be visiting the property and determining where the service levels and how FirstService Residential can improve these services to create an elevated experience for all residents, guests and vendors.
Daniel Ponzo
Daniel also serves in the Marine Corps Reserve with almost twenty years of experience in the infantry, intelligence and Combat Engineer fields. He is currently serving as the Battalion Commander for 4th Combat Engineer Battalion.
Daniel has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the George Washington University and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
Mark Haller
Mark is a charismatic real estate executive and leader with over twenty years of experience in both luxury hotels and residential properties. He has spent three years as a regional manager in both REIT and Fee Managed environments and is known for building engaged teams that deliver world class levels of customer service and excellent financial results. Mark graduated with honors from one of the worlds premiere Hospitality Programs and spent five years at the Mobil Five-Star level. Mark has earned his Real Estate Sales License in the state of California.
Lee Newman
As Regional Director for the Urban Division, Lee Newman is part of the California Leadership Team and directly oversees all San Diego high-rise communities. Lee has 12 years of community association experience, all with FirstService Residential. During that time, he has been an on-site General Manager at amenity-driven high-rise buildings in both Arizona and California. He was also a Vice President in the FirstService Residential Scottsdale office before deciding to relocate to San Diego.
Lee holds a CMCA Certification with the Community Association Manager’s International Certification Board and also the AMS Designation (Association Management Specialist) with the Community Associations Institute.
Kellie Hachten
As Director of Hospitality & Resident Experience, Kellie Hachten partners directly with our high-rise general managers and boards of directors to ensure that we are consistently delivering the elevated lifestyles our residents have come to expect. She takes an active role in developing personalized training programs for our front-line associates by monitoring their service excellence and is involved in the onboarding process. Additionally, she assists with the expansion and development of our service offerings and technology in an effort to maximize resident convenience.
Kellie has more than 20 years of luxury hospitality experience, beginning her career with Crystal Cruise Lines where she spent 12 years in marketing, sales and leadership roles. She continued to master her hospitality skillset with The Ritz-Carlton Company and Hyatt Hotel Company.
Bob Colby
As Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations for the West Region, Bob Colby oversees all financial planning and analysis, regional corporate and client accounting and operational innovation. In his role, Bob leads and implements complex initiatives, with the goal of accelerating regional growth, increasing operating efficiencies and creating competitive advantage related to FirstService Residential’s service offerings.
Prior to joining FirstService Residential, Bob held the title of Chief Financial Officer for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage for 12 years, where he played a key role in the M&A process, restructured operations during a downturn in the US housing market and integrated acquisitions, adding significant branch sales offices. Previously, he also worked at CBRE Group, where he served as Managing Director, leading a staff of over 140, performing third-party financial services for more than 100 private and institutional commercial clients constituting over 750 assets and 145 million square feet. He is an operations-focused leader, with a passion for strategic business planning, relationship building and people development.
Bob holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Boston College and CPA (inactive) in Massachusetts and is in the process of activating his CPA license in the state of California.
Samantha Sullivan
As Vice President of Human Resources of the West Region, Samantha Sullivan is responsible for leading the region’s HR strategies and process in areas such as talent and leadership development, talent acquisition, employee engagement and performance management.
Samantha brings nearly two decades of HR experience from multiple industries, including Aerospace and Defense, Consumer Products and Food & Beverage. Prior to joining FirstService Residential, Samantha led the HR team for Reyes Coca-Cola Beverages’ San Diego Market Unit.
As a two-time graduate of Purdue University, Samantha holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and a Masters’ Degree in Human Resources Management. In her spare time, Samantha enjoys traveling and exploring new places.
Mike Derosier
Mike Derosier serves as Director of Engineering for FirstService Residential. In his role, he oversees key client engineering support and services for FirstService Residential’s West Region. As a seasoned management professional, Mike has over 15 years of operational experience in facilities maintenance, plant and records management and corporate real estate and vendor contract management. His expertise includes developing concepts and resolving issues through multi-dimensional analysis as well as fostering collaborative relationships with vendors and management.
Prior to his role at FirstService Residential, Mike served as Chief Engineer for the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles and Facilities Manager for First American Title. He holds multiple certifications, including an Emergency Medical Technology/Technician certification from Saddleback College.
Tony Joseph, PMP
Tony Joseph has been with FirstService Residential since 2014, overseeing IT operations for the entire Western United States along with Central and Western Canada. He leads a team of technology professionals who support, champion and implement operational standards in our offices and sited communities. Tony is involved in creating our technology roadmap, which helps ensure operational excellence, and he also collaborates with our various business leaders in meeting their IT and operational objectives.
Tony plays a key role in our technology footprint at the buildings we manage, providing seamless integration of reliable tools and connectivity for our associates to successfully manage our operations and create a brand-differentiating experience.
