FirstService Residential Recognizes Exceptional Service and Living Its Values
Honorees Joined Executive Team for Celebration in South Florida
To kick off 2020, FirstService Residential brought 12 of its exemplary associates and their guests to sunny South Florida for a weekend at Margaritaville Resort and Hotel in Hollywood. The company honors its associates in two distinct categories: those nominated by residents for exceptional service and those nominated by fellow associates for living the company’s values.
The leadership team strives to promote programs to help associates achieve their professional goals and highlight their personal achievements. “Our People are the reason we remain the industry-leader in residential property management,” says Chuck Fallon, CEO of FirstService Residential.
Company-wide Recognition
Values@Work is a company-wide peer-to-peer recognition program. These incredible honorees were nominated by fellow associates and their stories were selected by a committee to be their regions’ 2019 Values@Work recipient. Scroll to the end for a gallery of images from that evening!
FirstSalute - In 2019, every Tuesday FirstCall story came directly from a customer who took the time to recognize an associate for living our values and delivering exceptional service every day. From the associates recognized, 4 worthy individuals and their guests were randomly selected to join the executive team and the Values@Work honorees at the recognition event in South Florida.
“We are so fortunate to have so many worthy individuals in our organization and are grateful for those who share such accolades with us so we can celebrate their service hearts” Fallon said. Check out the full list of weekly honorees.
Social Purpose/Activities
Our People continue to participate in initiatives that are meaningful to their personal lives or support their personal goals. In 2019, FirstService Residential highlighted associate community involvement including collecting for toy, food, and school supply drives, supporting cancer research and youth development causes, beach clean-ups, Habitat for Humanity volunteerism and so much more on the company’s internal Our Social Purpose website.
Social Purpose/Relief Fund
FirstService Residential associates also go above and beyond to support their fellow associates. Relief Fund payroll donations have more than tripled since this time last year. This is especially important as grant applications for emergency funding have increased with the expanded awareness of the fund. Associates who have benefited from this fund received grants to help with such hardships as funeral expenses and fire or flood damage to their homes. It says a lot about how associates live the company values that 26 associates have applied for and received support from the Relief Fund in 2019.
