We are proud of the reputation we have earned throughout New York for really listening to our homeowners, board members and residents, considering their needs and creating effective and responsive solutions to fulfill them.  We are honored to have earned the designation of Accredited Management Organization® (AMO®) by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®).  We are also a multiple recipient of the Leadership in Management Award from The Cooperator, as well as the only two-time recipient of the Management Company of the Year award from the Associated Builders and Owners of Greater New York (ABO). 

Along with our sister company FirstService Residential New Jersey, we have also received Management Company of the Year designations by the New York Building Managers Association (NYBMA), the Federation of New York Housing Cooperatives and Condominiums (FNYHC), and other professional organizations.

We are also very proud that David Kuperberg, our company founder and Chairman, has received numerous awards in recognition of his contributions to the advancement of industry services, standards and professionalism.

  • Our FS Project Management subsidiary was a winner in RISE:NYC, a competition that recognizes the most promising resiliency innovations from around the world. Only 11 of 200 entries were selected to receive a combined $30 million in implementation funding. Click here to read more.

FirstService Residential Wins Daylight Hour “JetSetter Award”

To showcase our commitment to sustainability and energy reduction, FirstService Residential joined hundreds of organizations around the world on June 19 to participate in Daylight Hour – a single hour when lights were turned off in day-lit spaces. This initiative served to demonstrate the availability of daylight in order draw attention to this important issue.

With participation from more than 30 FirstService Residential offices across the country, we were thrilled to receive the “JetSetter Award” for most participating offices.
