An industry visionary and pioneer with nearly 40 years of hands-on property management experience, Gene Gomberg is the founding partner of The Continental Group, the largest residential property management company in the FirstService Residential Management portfolio. During his career, he has developed a wide range of ground breaking concepts and products that have come to define the property management industry – and are commonly accepted as standard operating procedure today.
In his role as FirstService Residential Chairman, Gomberg is responsible for leading the organization’s acquisition process and collaborating on initiatives related to strategy, client relationships and business development. An involved and committed manager, he continuously seeks innovative ways to take both FirstService Residential and the property management industry to the next level, ensuring they deliver the highest standards for professionalism and customer service. As part of his commitment, Gomberg combines his passions for mentorship and sales by coaching and supporting his teams’ ongoing efforts to develop business and achieve corporate growth.

Chuck M. Fallon is the chief executive officer of FirstService Residential. As CEO, he guides FirstService Residential’s 12,000+ employee workforce to support and drive overall growth of the company’s client portfolio of 6,500 properties and 1.5 million residential units in markets throughout North America.
An advocate of superior customer service, Fallon has a strong track record of delivering success for multi-brand conglomerates within competitive service industries. Throughout his 25-year career with globally recognized Fortune 500 companies, he has consistently employed his brand of distinctive and attentive customer care to strengthen client and employee retention, leading to new business growth. For Fallon, being CEO at FirstService Residential also means upholding an open and positive culture for associates who share a “people first” philosophy to deliver first-class levels of property management service and build on the company’s legacy of going the extra mile every day to make a difference for each resident served.
Prior to joining the FirstService family he served as president of Terminix International and held various leadership positions with Burger King Holdings, Inc. and Cendant Corporation whose brands included Avis, Budget, Ramada, Days Inn, Century 21 and Coldwell Banker.
David Diestel serves as Regional President, South, overseeing the FirstService Residential markets throughout the region.
Diestel, who joined FirstService Residential in 2005, previously served as the company’s Senior Vice President, Operations. In this role, he supported the sales and operational excellence of markets across North America and was responsible for the company’s planning, marketing and business efforts. His responsibilities included developing strategic platform initiatives to improve customer experience and associate engagement, as well as delivering value-added services across all markets.
Before joining the company, Diestel held the position of Director of Strategy and Operations at parent company FirstService Corporation in Toronto, which he joined in 2002.
Diestel earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree from McGill University, as well as an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. He earned his certification as a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) from the U.S. Green Building Council. He currently lives in South Florida with his wife and two sons where he enjoys traveling, running and the challenges of trying to keep up with his kids.
As Vice President of Sales, Brian Duff develops and leads all sales and go-to-market strategies and initiatives for FirstService Residential throughout North America.
Prior to joining the company in 2013, Duff had a successful 25-year track record of sales leadership positions at Xerox Corporation in New York City and IKON Office Solutions (now Ricoh North America) in New Jersey. Most recently, Duff was Vice President of Sales and led go-to-market effectiveness strategies for Standard Register Company, a 100-year-old industry leader in document management and communication solutions.
Duff, who earned a Bachelor of Arts from Fairfield University in Connecticut, is based at FirstService Residential’s corporate headquarters in Dania Beach, FL. He and his wife Debbie have four sons, and in his spare time, he enjoys coaching his sons’ teams, as well as actively participating in a variety of sports.
As Vice President, Corporate Finance, Srinath Perera leads global business planning, financial performance, reporting and financial systems. Working with the company’s six regional teams, his responsibilities include delivering and supporting capabilities that improve business processes, internal external reporting and controls, acquisition integration, data mining for analytical insights and enhancing performance across all aspects of FirstService Residential corporate finance. Prior to becoming VP corporate finance in February 2017, Srinath served as director of corporate finance. In that role he was responsible for standardizing corporate billing and reporting, financial systems migration and integration of new acquisitions.
Before joining FirstService Residential Srinath spent two years as controller DFASS / Retail Services Group, a Miami-based global duty free operator. He led the global operations based out of Singapore and Canada supporting renewal of major partner contracts, enhancing inventory management, cycle time and controls.
Previously, held a variety of senior management positions at Burger King Inc. where he led company operations, finance, business re-structure, franchise financing, mergers and acquisitions, new market entry, new product development and development of supply chain/ procurement strategy. Earlier in his career he also worked for Yum Brands Inc. (formerly PepsiCo Restaurants), Advance business systems and John Keells Restaurants.
He earned management accounting degree from Dubai men’s college and holds a diploma in programming from ICS. Srinath is married and lives in sunny Miami with his wife.
