Oscar Miklos regularly advises strata owners, strata councils, detached homeowners, property managers and residential and commercial landlords and tenants in respect to their housing or property-related disputes and concerns.

Oscar provides peace of mind to his clients by resolving their issues in a straight-forward, efficient, and effective manner. The satisfaction his clients express after each successful outcome or resolution is what keeps Oscar continually energized and ready to take on new challenging matters.

A graduate of McGill University’s integrated common law/civil law program, Oscar completed his articles at a large regional firm in downtown Montreal. He was called to the Quebec Bar in 2013 and to the Law Society of British Columbia the following year. After spending a number of years at a reputable North Vancouver firm focusing on housing law, in 2020, Oscar founded Refresh Law.

Brent lives in South Surrey with his wife and their Jack Russell Terrier. He is an avid hiker and budding kayak enthusiast.

James takes a consultative approach to his role, recognizing that having the right fit between a community and its management is crucial to long-term success. Prior to joining FirstService, James worked in luxury hotel management and business-to-business sales. 

James has more than 20 years of experience in customer-facing roles and a true passion for customer service. He is a licensed strata manager and has a degree in Business Management. 

When not working, James is also an avid mountain biker and serves as the President of one of BC’s largest non-profit mountain bike clubs.
