Biltmore Lake Community Receives ‘Community of Excellence Award’ from CAI
CHARLOTTE, NC (Nov. 14, 2018) – FirstService Residential, the leading property management company in North America, announced that the North Carolina chapter of the Community Association Institute (CAI) presented its Community of Excellence award to the Biltmore Lake Association. Located in Asheville, Biltmore Lake is an impressive lake-front, master-planned community managed by FirstService Residential.

Biltmore Lake was one of three communities to receive this award in 2018. These awards recognize a community’s teamwork, volunteer energy and professionalism. Biltmore Lake is a multi-generational, model community under development by Biltmore Farms. The community continues to grow and evolve as the needs and wants of its residents change. At completion, the community will feature approximately 900 homes and just reached occupancy in its 700th home. Located just minutes from downtown Asheville, the community features miles of forest and lake trails, canoeing, fishing, tennis and robust activity programming and events.
Entries for Community of Excellence were judged on resident volunteerism and contributions made outside of the community. One example is last year’s Giving Garland fundraising campaign in which Biltmore Lake residents generously opened their hearts and their wallets to benefit Enka High School students with financial needs.
