Associates of FirstService Residential Achieve Industry Designations
Charlotte, NC, August 27, 2013– Another four Community Association Managers within FirstService Residential have been designated a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®) by Community Association Managers International Certification Board (CAMICB). The names of these four associates include Jackie Bull, Amelia Chadwick, Litzie Hassell, and Travis McAlister.
CAMICB is an independent affiliate of the Community Associations Institute. It administers the education course work for this professional accreditation body and the managers that work for the 10,000+ management companies worldwide.
A fifth Community Association Manager within the Carolinas operation of FirstService Residential, Neale Turlington has achieved the pinnacle designation of community association management, the PCAM®, or Professional Community Association Manager Designation. The PCAM designation is the highest professional recognition available nationwide to managers who specialize in community association management.
Prerequisites for the PCAM include five years of direct community association management experience, successful completion and a passing exam grade for all six M-200 level education programs, a case study that demonstrates the ability to apply the knowledge learned in the six M-200 courses in a real world setting, a commitment to ethical conduct and business practices, and to have successfully passed the CMCA examination administered by CAMICB.
