As President of FirstService Residential New York, Wurtzel oversees the departments that collectively manage more than 500 condominium, cooperative and rental properties comprising 70,000 apartments.  Wurtzel manages client retention, leadership development, organizational growth and strategic initiatives. He is also responsible for ensuring that FirstService Residential delivers its promise of “service excellence” to board members, building owners and residents across the company’s New York metropolitan area portfolio.

“I’m honored to strengthen my personal connection and FirstService Residential’s partnership with Community Access by joining the agency’s Board of Directors,” said Wurtzel.  “Community Access has been at the forefront of creating cost effective community-based solutions for people with mental health challenges and other disabilities throughout New York.  I’m looking forward to helping the organization reach its strategic goals, which will make New York City a better place to live for everyone.”
As the newest board leader, Wurtzel is working with the Community Access team to assist the agency in achieving the organization’s goal to build 1,000 new units of affordable housing throughout New York City.
