FirstService Residential Ranked New York’s Top Property Management Company by The Real Deal
New York, NY (November 11, 2024) – For the third consecutive year, FirstService Residential has been ranked New York’s top property management company by The Real Deal. To rank the city’s top property managers, The Real Deal analyzed the number of units under management using building data from the Department of Housing Preservation and Development from all five boroughs.
As of the close of Q3 2024, FirstService Residential’s New York City management portfolio included more than 700 properties, comprising nearly 100,000 individual units in condominium, cooperative, and multifamily rental buildings. That figure positions FirstService Residential as the clear leader in the important urban market of New York City.
In 2024, FirstService Residential was selected by Great Place To Work® and Fortune magazine as one of the Best Workplaces for Women™ and a Best Workplace in Real Estate, named a Work Wellbeing 100 Company by Indeed, and awarded a Great Place To Work® Certification for the second consecutive year. In the New York market, the company was selected to participate in the Empire Building Challenge, a competitive $50 million initiative administered by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) to decarbonize existing multifamily residential and commercial high-rise buildings.
In 2023, FirstService Residential was named Accredited Management Organization (AMO) of the Year by the New York Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and also was named Organization of the Year by SiteCompli.
