Glenne Manlig
As President, Glenne Manlig is responsible for overseeing the teams that deliver the services and solutions of over 300 communities we manage in Alberta, comprising over 25,000 homes. Directly reporting into Glenne are leaders in operations, administration, accounting and human resources.
With 15 years of property management experience, Glenne is accountable for overall associate engagement, client retention and delivering on our promise of service excellence to our board of directors through living our core values every day.
Prior to this role, Glenne was an owner and operator of a boutique property management firm in Vancouver. During his time there, he led the company to significant growth through a comprehensive reorganization of the company. Glenne brings a strategic mindset, a focus on providing operational and service excellence and a commitment to enhancing the lives of the people and the communities that he serves.
Lauren Larre, Associate Broker
An active leader Lauren is at the forefront of creating and improving processes and ways for improved efficiency on her team. “I’m always looking for new or improved ways of doing our work that will better serve our associates, the boards they serve, and their condominium clients,” says Lauren.
Lauren volunteers her time as a board member with CCI South board of directors, providing expertise in various areas including board/owner education, conflict resolution, coaching, training and development.
Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Lauren holds a sociology degree. She enjoys golfing, family time and her two dogs.
Andrew Maclachlan, Broker
Andrew serves as Regional Director for FirstService Residential. In this role, he is responsible for supporting community managers in their daily operations, while also ensuring that all onsite staff are delivering exceptional service to boards of directors and residents.
Andrew possesses extensive experience with strategic planning, contract negotiation, cost containment and contract and vendor management. A leader in corporate services with the commercial real estate sector for over 30 years, he has a proven record of providing customer first solutions.
Before joining FirstService Residential, Andrew was General Manager Western Canada for a publicaly traded REIT. Andrew holds a B.Ed. from Concordia University in Montreal and is a licensed realtor and broker of record for FirstService Residential in Alberta.
Alicia Jentner
Alicia brings more than 10 years of condominium management experience to her role. She formerly owned and operated one of the highest rated boutique condominium management firms in Edmonton. Alicia’s condo roots run deep as a past condo owner herself and serving as the board president for the corporation.
Alicia brings many strengths to her role and her ability to adapt and change is key to her successful career. She says it’s difficult to choose just one core value, however, Improve It rises to the top. “We can always improve and I firmly believe in progress. Improve It acknowledges our humanity and resilience and I enjoy the challenge of the journey to continually Improve It.”
Alicia’s vast experience in condominium management, and her financial and business acumen are complemented by a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Ecology. When she’s not working Alicia loves a perfect cappuccino, a refreshing nature hike and snuggling in for family movie night.
Phoenix Giffuni
Specializing in rejuvenating underperforming property portfolios, Phoenix says, “Aim high challenges me daily to get outside my comfort zone and never settle, we can always do better.”
Phoenix has worked in small and large companies including not-for-profit, managing various building types and portfolios. Holding her Accredited Residential Manager (ARM®) designation along with her property management real estate associate license, Phoenix was previously area manager with one of Canada’s largest owner/operator property management groups.
With over 19 years’ experience in multi-family housing, Phoenix joined FirstService Residential in 2019, and worked with the leadership team to launch Alberta market’s multi-family platform in 2020.
Jason Krippl
Jason brings many strengths to his role, including careful listening habits that mean adapting his communication style to each individual. Whether it’s internal or external clients, he makes it his goal to fully understand and meet client needs.
His well-rounded experience includes working in the multi-family sector with different multi-family developers in Calgary. As a Chartered Professional Accountant, and CPA Alberta member, Jason is experienced in private and public accounting that includes trust accounting.
Mary Chen
As Director of Operations, Mary Chen oversees the ‘Heart of House’ administration of all Alberta condominium corporations. Leading and empowering a dynamic team of community and office support associates, Mary is a firm believer in our core values to Improve It and Own It.
“My true passion is improving it by identifying and eliminating waste. Any process can be improved and no matter how big or small our contribution is, we all Own It by adhering to and achieving high standards.”
Mary comes to FirstService Residential with 10+ years of experience in continuous improvement, project management, and quality assurance from the oil and gas, manufacturing, and construction industries.
Born and raised in Taiwan, Mary holds a civil engineering degree from the University of Calgary. In her spare time, you’ll find Mary spending time with loved ones, travelling, or indulging her deep appreciation for food.
Samantha L. Chase
Samantha says building great relationships is particularly important for her. “It’s crucial to develop and nurture relationships with my client group as well as the leadership team. This creates open communication and a free flow of dialogue that maintains a strong culture,” says Samantha.
Samantha’s career began in consumer-packaged goods, lighting her fire and passion for human capital. Progressing through various HR roles in transportation and automotive, Samantha pivoted to property management to put her people strength to an industry steeped in relationship building.
A graduate of the bachelor’s Business Administration in Human Resources from Athabasca University Samantha studied human resources and labour relations. Outside of her passion for people, she spends time with friends and family, enjoys cooking, the great outdoors, and training for equestrian show jumping competitions.
