FirstService Residential, the leading community management company in Nevada, has partnered with Cell Phones for Soldiers to conduct a cell phone donation drive.

The public is encouraged to drop off gently-used cell phones, which will in turn be recycled. The proceeds from the recycled phones will be used to purchase calling cards for soldiers deployed overseas.

Gently-used, late model cell phones are preferred; however any type of cell phone from any carrier may be donated.

“We wanted to give people a way to recycle their old cell phones while at the same time helping the men and women who serve our country,” said Steven Parker, president of FirstService Residential. “By donating old phones, our employees and the community can help our troops make free calls to loved ones.”

Phones are being collected through the end of the year. Old cell phones can be dropped off at the following locations:

  • 8290 Arville Street, Las Vegas
  • 10155 W. Twain Ave., Suite 100, Las Vegas
  • 7951 Deer Springs Way, Suite 170, Las Vegas
  • 5135 Camino Al Norte, Suite 160, Las Vegas
  • 8915 S. Pecos Road, Suite 17-A, Henderson
  • 6170 Ridgeview Court, Suite C, Reno
  • 7650 Town Square Way, Reno
