FirstService Residential To Present Free Board Member Certification Courses in Orange County
FirstService Residential will host free Condominium and HOA board certification courses designed to address the most critical aspects of day-to-day condominium and homeowners’ association operations throughout Orange County.
On Tuesday, February 17, 2015, an event will take place at the MetroWest Golf Club, located at 2100 S. Hiawassee Boulevard in Orlando, FL 32835. Hors D’oeuvres will be served and a vendor expo will take place at 5:30 p.m., followed by the course at 6:30 p.m.
An second event will take place on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the Stoneybrook West Golf Club, located at 15501 Town Commons Boulevard in Winter Garden, FL 34787. Hors D’oeuvres will be served and a vendor expo will take place at 5:30 p.m., followed by the course at 6:30 p.m.
A final board certification course will take place on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 530 East Central Condominium Club Room, located at 530 East Central Avenue in Orlando, FL 32801. Hors D’oeuvres will be served at 6:00 p.m., followed by the course at 6:30 p.m.
These courses will feature special guest Scott Newsome of the law firm Hurley Rogner and are open to any area board member who wishes to attend. Upon completion of the course, newly elected or appointed board members will receive a certificate of completion that satisfies Florida legal requirements for board members to fulfill within 90 days of taking office.
