Dan Henein, Vice President, Client Accounting
 
Dan Henein serves as the vice president of client accounting for FirstService Residential in Nevada. He joined FirstService Residential in 2008 and has nearly 13 years of industry experience in community association management, serving hundreds of associations in various capacities. His client base has included communities of all types and sizes including master-planned, high-rise, condominium, age-qualified, new development, etc., and up to nearly 15,000 units.
 
Henein oversees all accounting operations for all FirstService Residential-managed communities in Nevada, and constantly works to evaluate processes and workflows with the goal of improving our services and efficiencies. He has creatively worked with boards to finance large projects while saving individual communities up to nearly $300,000.  
 
While maintaining a clear segregation of duties, his team is responsible for providing monthly detailed reviews, timely client financial statements, identifying areas of risk and the processing of all collections and payments. His team also assists community managers and board members with annual budgets, audits and required Nevada Revised Statute compliance.
 
Henein graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a B.A. in finance. He is an active member of the Community Association Institute (CAI) and maintains the professional designation of Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA). Additionally, he has experience serving as a director for multiple associations.
 
 
Maurice Talley, Corporate Trainer
 
Maurice Talley serves as the corporate trainer for FirstService Residential in Nevada. He joined FirstService Residential in 2012 and has over 10 years of experience in public speaking and personal and professional development training. Talley provides monthly trainings focused on personal and professional development for FirstService Residential associates and HOA board members.
 
Prior to his role as the corporate trainer, Talley served as the lifestyle director at a local, large-scale, active-adult community for three years. His areas of expertise include training and development, public speaking, developing high-performing teams, providing high-level leadership and supervision, as well as event planning.
 
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Talley’s life goal is helping others feel fulfilled and empowering those who feel powerless. His successful career in the U.S. Army was his springboard to a fulfilling life of doing what he loves. He also enjoys a happy family life with his partner of nine years and their five dogs.
