Executive Vice President, High-Rise & Mixed-Use
As Executive Vice President, High-Rise & Mixed-Use, Drew Schlegel oversees all operations, client relationships, staff development, new business launch and business development for FirstService Residential's San Francisco, Greater Los Angeles and Valencia regions. He is a member of the Executive Leadership Council in California and assists with growth strategies throughout California.
Schlegel previously served as FirstService Residential's Vice President of Finance for the past seven years, where he was responsible for directing and assisting with community association accounting and finance. He is an expert on a variety of Common Interest Development finance issues including: developer subsidies, maintenance agreements, collections, foreclosures, budgeting and reserve funding.
SHANE GILLASPIE, CMCA®
Executive Vice President, Northern California Region
Shane serves as the Executive Vice President of the Northern California region overseeing a mix of HOA, Lifestyle, Active Adult, Master-Planned, and Condominium Associations. Shane is responsible for the continued growth and development of the Northern California region and its team. He brings over 15 years of leadership experience including a background in Human Resources and Business Development and holds a Master’s Degree in Education.
NATALIE VALDEZ-SMITH, CMCA®
Regional Director, San Francisco
Natalie joined FirstService Residential in 2011 bringing over 20 years of experience in asset and building management, acquisitions, start-ups, along with managing day-to-day operations. Natalie was awarded the Rookie of the Year Vision Award from the California Association of Community Managers in 2012. She received her Bachelor of Arts from San Jose State University and received her MBA from San Diego State University. In her role as the San Francisco Regional Director, she is responsible for all regional operations.
