Executive Vice President, Northern California

As FirstService Residential’s Northern California Executive Vice President Kathryn Henricksen, CCAM, has operational oversight of the Sacramento, San Francisco and Bay Area regional offices and is responsible for spearheading continued growth throughout Northern California. She also supervises account executive staff and association on-site teams.

Henricksen brings over 20 years of community management experience with portfolio communities and on-site management. She is on the board and faculty of the California Association of Community Managers (CACM) and holds the professional designations of Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM®). In 2004, Henricksen was the recipient of the CACM President’s Vision Award. She is also a member of the Community Associations Institute and Community Manager’s International Association.



Regional Director, Bay Area


Theresa has more than 18 years’ experience in community association management, municipal government including special district operations, and large scale community management. She has expertise in budgeting, management analysis, as well as all phases of community maintenance and operations, legislation and long range planning. With FirstService Residential, she is responsible for Bay Area business development, client retention and developer relations. She also plays an integral role in the recruiting and training of staff for the region. She is experienced in creating staff development programs, team building and establishing partnerships with vendors.

In previous positions, she has been responsible for creating new initiatives, developing full-cycle district budgets, and acted as liaison with municipal departments, city councils, school districts and developers. She maintains professional certification from the Community Association Institute (CAI).
