Santa Clarita, CA, November 22, 2013 —FirstService Residential, California’s leading property management company, announces today that Sascha Macias, General Manager for Madison at Town Center, received the Improve It Award for her hard work and dedication to the community she serves.

Macias received the award for using creativity and ingenuity to transform an abandoned plot of land into a dog “bark” park. After months of plans and preparation, the newly constructed dog park is finalized and the enclosed park area provides a safe area for residents and their pets to play and exercise.

Awards are given in categories ranging from 'Rookie of the Year' and 'Own It' to 'Be Genuinely Helpful.'  The Improve It Award recipient is open-minded, collaborative and continuously looks for ways to improve.

The FirstService Residential California annual meeting brings more than 650 staff from across the state to learn about the current state of the company along with the vision for the future.
