FirstService Residential Promotes James Nicoli, CCAM, to General Manager of Trilogy at Glen Ivy
Inland Empire, May 10, 2013 —FirstService Residential, formerly known as Merit Property Management, announces today the promotion of James Nicoli, CCAM, to General Manager of Trilogy at Glen Ivy in Corona, CA, an active adult community of 1,317 homes. In his role as General Manager, Nicoli works closely with the Trilogy Board of Directors and is responsible for daily operations and also oversees a team of 16 on-site staff members. The position includes budgeting, spending, contracts, agreements, staff management, resident relations and other related duties. Nicoli transitioned to the position on April 1, 2013.

Nicoli brings more than 12 years of HOA management experience to First Service Residential's team specializing in on-site operations and facilities maintenance. He maintains certifications in pool and emergency shelter operations. Prior to his current position, Nicoli was the General Manager Preserve at Chino, a master-planned FirstService Residential managed community encompassing over 1,000 acres in the Inland Empire.
Nicoli holds the professional designation of Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM) from the California Association of Community Managers (CACM) and is a member of the California Association Institute, Inland Empire Chapter. Nicoli received a Certification of Recognition from the Building Industry Association for involvement in the membership committee in 2010 and was nominated for a CACM Vision award in 2009. Nicoli was also awarded First Service Residential California's Employee of the Annual Meeting in 2012, the Cost Containment Award in 2009 and the Helping Hand Award in 2008. He attended California State University Long Beach and received a Bachelor of Arts in Recreation Administration.
