FirstService Residential Community Manager Wins Industry CACM Vision Award
Orange County, CA, July 29, 2013 — FirstService Residential in California, the state’s leading property management company, announced today that staff member Kim Nielsen was presented with a Vision Award by the California Association of Community Managers (CACM) for excellence in her field. She was honored at the Vision Awards Ceremony on July 25, 2013, which was held in conjunction with CACM's Statewide Expo and Conference at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, CA.
Kim Nielsen General Manager of The Bluffs in Newport Beach, received the "Creative Solutions for Problem Solving Level II" award for assisting her 647 unit community realize annual operating expense savings along with improving vendor services, staff professionalism and an overhaul of the look and feel of the community.
Nielsen is an active member of CACM and maintains the professional designation as a Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM). In 2012, she has was also nominated for a CACM Vision Award for her achievements and excellence in the field of community management as well as her ability to creatively solve problems and communicate with homeowners, board members, staff and developers. Nielsen holds a bachelor’s of science degree from the University of Southern California as well as a license from the State of California Department of Real Estate.
The CACM Vision Awards honor community association managers and industry professionals who demonstrate excellence in community service and dedication to their communities. The awards competition and 22nd annual CACM statewide trade show featured well-known speakers, workshops and networking opportunities for industry professionals.
