Schlegel to Assume Role as President of MarWest Commercial, a division of FirstService Residential in California
IRVINE, California -- October 20, 2014 – Andrew Schlegel was appointed by FirstService Residential to assume the role of President, MarWest Commercial. As of September 2014, he assumed responsibilities for the operation and strategic business development of the commercial property management business. He will work with FirstService Residential executive leadership to ensure excellent client service and promote the growth of the company throughout the Western United States. He will also maintain regional responsibilities for residential management operations in Los Angeles and Santa Clarita.
Schlegel's career with FirstService Residential spans more than 10 years, and he has held a variety of operational and leadership roles. His organizational knowledge and industry experience help bridge the objectives of MarWest Commercial and FirstService Residential. Additionally, with his business development and marketing background, as well as his finance and accounting expertise, he is positioned to achieve growth plans for MarWest Commercial throughout the Western United States.
Schlegel’s 30-year career in professional services includes public accounting, banking, real estate finance, sales and marketing, and property management. He holds the professional designation of Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®) from Community Associations Institute (CAI) and is a member of the Building Industry Association (BIA).
