The wait is over! From Miami and Orlando to Jacksonville and beyond, now you can get certified on your own time -- and for free.

If you serve on your condominium or homeowners association board, you must meet Florida’s board certification requirements. Our DBPR-approved course is fully aligned with the educational standards set by House Bills 1021 and 1203, fulfilling the state’s board education requirements. It’s also designed to equip you with the essential knowledge and skills to excel in your role.

This FREE Florida board certification course is updated to reflect the changes to the Condominium Act that took effect on July 1, 2025. It details the most critical aspects of association leadership, including:

  • Board member’s roles and responsibilities

  • Association meeting requirements

  • Board member elections and meetings

  • Financial literacy and transparency

  • Recordkeeping

  • Milestone inspections

  • Structural Integrity Reserve Studies (SIRS)


Florida board certification instructions:

  • To access the course, please complete the registration form. Make sure to use the same name and email throughout the process, as you'll need them later to receive your certificate.

  • You must watch the entire four hours of education; however, this format allows you to pause and resume at your convenience. 

  • Throughout the session, six code words will be announced. Be sure to write them down in order, as they form a complete phrase that you’ll need to submit at the end.

  • After completing the course, follow the instructions on the next page to submit your code phrase and request your certificate. Certificates will be sent within 15 business days.
