At FirstService Residential Tennessee, we strongly believe in giving back to the communities and neighborhoods we serve.  These are the same communities where we live and play, so both as individuals and company-wide, we dedicate our time and resources to those in need.  Our commitment is to local causes and organizations throughout Tennessee, as well as those that are based across the country.    

We also provide immediate support in times in disaster.  For example, when Hurricane Sandy devastated the Atlantic coast in late 2012, the storm caused major damage to approximately 200 properties managed by FirstService Residential New York and FirstService Residential New Jersey, our affiliated companies.

However, just a few days later, FirstService Residential established a $10 million emergency Hurricane Recovery Fund to help affected residents begin the recovery process as soon as possible.  This funding could be used by affected properties to start making immediate repairs before their insurance claims were finalized.  As a result, our residents and their families could start getting back to their everyday lives.
