Christine Lentz serves as President of FirstService Residential, responsible for overseeing the company’s community association and condominium management operations in Missouri and Kansas, as well as its maintenance division. Prior to assuming her current role in 2010, Christine served as Community Manager, where she served clients in both the condominium and community association areas of the industry for 15 years. During this time, she worked closely with many residential developers in the Greater Kansas City area to help them successfully launch many new communities.
Prior to joining the FirstService Residential team, Christine was Director of Property Management for a commercial real estate company servicing properties throughout the nation.
She currently serves as president of the Police Athletic League of Kansas City (PAL), a not-for-profit organization that works with disadvantaged Kansas City youth in conjunction with the Kansas City Missouri Police Department. In 2013, Christine and her team at FirstService Residential were recognized by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics as a “Company of Character” for their work at PAL.
She served on the CAI Heartland Chapter Board of Directors and was an active member of the CAI Missouri Legislative Action Committee for several years. Christine holds her CMCA and AMS certification from the Community Association Institute. She has also served as a Board Member of the Kansas City Chapter of BOMA.
Rob Board holds the position of Vice President and Regional Director at FirstService Residential, responsible for working with property managers at condominiums, high rises and single-family developments.
Previously, he worked for 12 years in the construction management industry, responsible for managing homeowners and contractors, as well as scheduling numerous building projects, representing several million dollars of inventory.
Rob, who holds his CMCA and AMS certification from the Community Association Institute, earned a bachelor’s degree from MidAmerica Nazarene University, where he made Who’s Who and was an All-American Scholar and President of the Ministerial Association. After graduation, he helped launch a new church, where for several years, he served as a leader, mentor and pastor. Currently, he is actively involved in his community through the local City Rescue Mission and City Rescue Food Pantry.
As Vice President and Regional Director at FirstService Residential, Jason Burgess advises property managers with townhomes, villas and single-family development accounts. His duties also include making many of the company’s sales presentations and pitches for new developments and communities, a responsibility shared with company president Christine Lentz. Additionally, Jason serves as community manager for the majority of Rodrock communities under development in Kansas City by the city’s largest developer.
Jason holds his CMCA and AMS certifications from the Community Association Institute and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Emporia State University. Prior to working in property management, he has 15 years of experience in the advertising field as both a media buyer and media planner.
Jessica Ballou currently serves as Controller for FirstService Residential, where she is responsible for all accounting functions and activities. Previously, she was a team leader for the homeowner’s association division of the accounting department. Before joining the company 14 years ago, she worked with Government contracts, sub contracting, manufacturing and evaluating job costs of projects. Jessica graduated from Jewell University with degrees in accounting and business management.
