The requirements to becoming certified include verification of insurance coverage, abiding by the Vendor Verification Agreement and ensuring that appropriate business licenses are in place. This is a process we have developed to feel confident your company will take great care of our communities and residents.
To guarantee a fair and impartial review, we have contracted with Vendor Information Verification Experts (“VIVE”) to ensure our current and potential vendors meet and maintain all minimum requirements. If your initial certificate of insurance or license is non-compliant, VIVE will work directly with you and/or your insurance agent to obtain a compliant certificate or license.
VIVE charges each vendor an annual fee of $250 for verifying that your insurance coverage and licensing meets all FirstService Residential requirements. This fee is paid directly to VIVE.

When policy renewal time approaches, VIVE will notify your agent, so renewals can be completed in a timely manner and there is no lapse in coverage.
