FirstService Residential Georgia to Co-Host 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb
The Georgia office of FirstService Residential, North America’s largest residential management company, is partnering with The Manhattan Condominium to host the 2016 Georgia 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. The event, which will take place on September 10, 2016 in Atlanta, will honor the first responders who selflessly gave their lives on that tragic September day 15 years ago.
Participants will pay tribute by climbing 110 stories, the equivalent of the World Trade Center. The climb starts promptly at 8:46 a.m., the exact time the first plane hit the World Trade Center in 2001.
“We are honored to co-host the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb and are so proud that the city of Atlanta is coming together to honor the fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice,” said Matt Phillips, president of FirstService Residential.
Participants can register individually, as part of a team with friends and family, or as a Virtual Climber if they are unable to participate but would still like to support this important cause. Event proceeds benefit the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, which supports the families and co-workers of fallen firefighters.
