Community Association Educational Event Welcomed over 2,500 FirstService Residential Board Members, Industry Leaders and Associates
(HOLLYWOOD, Fla) FirstService Residential, formerly known in Florida as The Continental Group, hosted the FirstService Residential 2013 South Florida Conference & Exposition on Friday, October 11 at the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood, FL.
As the largest educational forum of its kind in the state, the conference aimed to meet the needs of community association board members, community association managers (CAMs) and staff across the region by providing them the tools and knowledge needed to deal with day-to-day operations and long-term planning for community associations.
Educational seminars were held throughout the day, fulfilling state requirements for association board member certification, and provided CAMs with continuing education credits in addition to a variety of courses ranging from maintenance topics, financial issues, service animals, legislative updates and more. Additionally, attendees were extended an opportunity to exchange community association best practices and establish core business relationships with subject-matter experts.
