FirstService Residential to Spearhead Charitable Holiday Initiatives Across Florida
As it does each year, FirstService Residential, Florida’s leading property management company, will once again support a variety of charities statewide in the communities it serves through its associates’ philanthropic efforts during the holidays.
Broward and Palm Beach County associates and residents in FirstService Residential-managed communities will donate to Toys for Tots. Additionally, Boca Raton office associates plan to hold their annual bicycle drive for the Spirit of Giving Network Holiday Gift Drive. Last year’s efforts enabled them to purchase 22 children’s bikes and they hope to exceed that goal in 2015. Hollywood office associates, along with sister company Service America, will partner with Habitat for Humanity to build homes for underprivileged families.
The Dade County regional office will be collecting toys from associates and residents who live in area communities for Voices for Children, a charity that provides toys for children in the Miami-Dade County foster care system.
The Port St. Lucie and Orlando offices will serve as office drop-off sites for Toys for Tots. The Tampa/St. Petersburg office will be collecting funds for Metropolitan Ministries; their efforts will directly impact three local families in need.
The Jacksonville office is partnering with Daniel Kids Foundation, a charity that serves local families year round. During the holidays, FirstService Residential associates will be collecting food and toys through Daniel Kids for at-risk children and their families.
In Vero Beach, FirstService associates will furnish items on Christmas wish lists for 10 local children through Child Care Resources of Indian River County.
The Atlanta office is also partnering with Toys for Tots to collect and donate toys to area children.
