Our company was established in 1990 as The Continental Group, a Florida-based real estate management company specializing in community association management. Over the past two decades, we leveraged our experience, strong client relationships and extensive resources to become the leading full-service residential property management organization in the Southern United States.
Our continued growth spurred a significant expansion of our scope of services and, today, we provide a broad range of tailored, high-quality residential and commercial association management services. These include physical, administrative, accounting, financial, developer consulting and real estate leasing and brokerage services. These service are delivered with attentive and responsive customer service to the over 1,500 communities we manage across the South.
In 1997, The Continental Group became part of FirstService Residential, the largest residential property management organization in North America, joining a network of market-leading management companies located throughout the U.S. and Canada. This important milestone allowed us to participate in many differentiating programs and industry-leading services that deliver significant added value to our Alabama clients.
We experienced another milestone when our parent company unified all of its management companies under the FirstService Residential brand in June 2013. The Continental Group was renamed and today operates under the name FirstService Residential. By rebranding, we can enhance the visibility of our affiliation with FirstService Residential and provide even more value to clients through our organization’s shared resources, best practices and collective buying power. At the same time, we continue to build caring relationships with our Alabama clients and provide them with local expertise and the dedicated customer service we’re known for – the same industry-leading qualities that have made us the property management company of choice throughout the South.
