Community Associations Institute (CAI) New Jersey Recognizes FirstService Residential-managed Greenbriar Woodlands at Industry Awards Dinner
Eatontown, N.J. (March 7, 2019) – FirstService Residential, the leading property management company in North America, announced that the New Jersey chapter of the Community Association Institute (CAI-NJ) presented its Board of the Year award to Greenbriar Woodlands, a 55+ community comprised of single-family homes located in Toms River, New Jersey. The premier community is proudly managed by FirstService Residential. The award was presented at the chapter’s annual awards dinner on February 28.

The board, in acknowledgement of the differences between the original residents and new ones, has taken on key initiatives such as modifying clubhouse programming, amenities, educational events and scheduling. In addition, they have successfully completed largescale renovations, including resurfacing roads, reconstruction of the tennis courts, a fitness center upgrade, drainage projects, new buildings and clubhouse upgrades.
“We’d also like to acknowledge the hard work and efforts of our on-site FirstService Residential team: Community Manager Maria Cassidy and Assistant Community Manager Christine McLean,” Gammon said. “They work very closely with the board in helping them achieve their goals.”
This award is presented to a CAI-NJ community association board with a minimum of three members and is awarded based on their involvement in CAI-NJ and CAI National, their board operations and their involvement in the community. Greenbriar Woodlands works closely with CAI-NJ hosting events, as well as attending conferences and seminars.
