Wentworth Property Management Changes Name to FirstService Residential
Name Change Part of North American Rebranding Effort Highlighting National Reach and Personalized Local Service
EATONTOWN, NJ (June 27, 2013) – The corporate headquarters of FirstService Residential has announced that its subsidiary, Wentworth Property Management, has been renamed FirstService Residential. This name change is part of FirstService Residential’s national rebranding effort, which took effect on June 27, 2013.
FirstService Residential is the largest manager of residential communities in North America, overseeing more than 6,000 properties and over 1.5 million residential units. The former Wentworth Property Management, an established property management leader in the Mid-Atlantic/Carolinas region, manages a client portfolio of more than 700 communities. It became a subsidiary of FirstService Residential in 1997.

Mendillo also noted that the rebranding to FirstService Residential signifies a change in company name only, and all day-to-day operations will remain “business as usual.” Current property management teams will remain in place to service their existing customers, with added benefits gained from access to an expanded core of resources, combined purchasing power and shared expertise and best practices.
