FirstService Residential Executive Director Timothy Snowden Appointed to Community Associations Institute National Faculty
FirstService Residential, the leading property management company in Pennsylvania announces Timothy Snowden, ARM, CMCA, AMS, PCAM has qualified to join the National Faculty of the Community Associations Institute (CAI). Snowden is currently Executive Director for FirstService Residential’s Philadelphia High Rise Division. In his new role with CAI, Snowden will be teaching the M-206 Financial Management course, providing community managers with the tools to understand and best manage a community association’s money. Topics include budgeting, financial planning, replacement reserves, basic investment principles, accrual and fund accounting, analyzing financial reports and using budgets/financial reports as management tools.
In order to qualify, Snowden applied for the CAI position and took part in the National Faculty training program which emphasizes skills in adult education techniques. “This has been a career goal of mine since initially taking CAI’s M-100 course 14 years ago,” said Timothy Snowden. “I always wanted ‘to give back’ by teaching and empowering new managers to develop into skilled professionals.”

Timothy Snowden currently holds the Accredited Management Specialist (AMS®), Certified Manager of Community Association (CMCA®), and Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) designations through CAI. He is also an Accredited Residential Manager (ARM®) with the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
