FirstService Residential, New York’s leading residential property management company, announced that senior property managers Maria Auletta and Marc Rishe have each been promoted to the position of managing director within the company’s New Development Property Management Division. In their new roles, Auletta and Rishe will assume the additional responsibility of overseeing the performance of several property managers and assistant property managers while also continuing to manage their respective properties.

“Maria and Marc have proven their leadership skills both internally and externally by exemplifying our company’s high standards for customer service and our pledge to ‘Making a Difference. Every Day,’” says Dan Wurtzel, president, FirstService Residential. “Their promotions support our commitment to providing our associates with a path for career advancement while continuing to strengthen our organization from within.”

Auletta joined FirstService Residential in 2003 as an assistant property manager and was subsequently promoted to positions of increasing responsibility including associate property manager, property manager, senior property manager and managing director. With more than 16 years of industry experience, she has successfully overseen the execution of a variety of capital improvement projects including façade renovations, window replacements, roof replacements, Local Law 11 projects, and Local Law 87 energy audit and retro-commissioning projects. Auletta is a past recipient of FirstService Residential’s Star Award, presented to associates recognized as an outstanding performer.

With nearly a decade of experience in the industry, Rishe joined FirstService Residential in 2009 as an assistant property manager. He, too, quickly rose through the ranks after successive promotions to property manager, senior property manager and managing director. He has proven himself a valuable asset to his portfolio properties as a result of his deep industry knowledge and leadership skills. Rishe’s tenacity in his roles have yielded success in areas of budget preparation, staff management, contractor negotiations and cost effective maintenance of building systems.
