FirstService Residential, the leading property management company, announced Lauren Lee as Executive Director of Sun City Community Association of Huntley. Her focus will be oversight of this marquee property, its professional on-site associates, and working with the Board of Directors and residents on developing community wide initiatives.


Lee has two decades of experience in property management and real estate, and holds numerous industry designations including the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) which is the pinnacle of community association management. She also earned the Certified Manager of Community Association (CMCA) and Association Management Specialist (AMS). Lee currently serves on the Community Associations Institute’s Legislative Action Committee.

Lee has managed several communities throughout the southwest and Colorado ranging in size and amenities. Most recently she managed the day-to-day operations of a large scale homeowners association in Peoria, Arizona consisting of 4,000 homes, two recreation centers and numerous common areas as well as amenities. She worked closely with the Board of Directors on identifying short-term and long-term goals, establishing policies, preparing and analyzing budgets and financial statements, and presenting options and recommended courses of action. She was responsible for managing on-site association staff including recruiting, selecting, and training. Lee also studied the changing needs of residents and recommended programs and services to enhance the lifestyle experience of the community and she provided leadership and direction to various resident volunteer committees.

Sun City Community Association of Huntley is located in Huntley, Illinois and consists of 5,481 homes. This community has been managed by FirstService Residential since January 2007 and features cascading waterfalls, mature landscaping, the 94,000 square foot Prairie Lodge, Whisper Creek Golf Club, a state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, and an indoor track. Wildflower Park provides a beautiful setting for family picnics or fishing in a serene, natural lake as well as softball fields, regulation horseshoes, eight tennis courts, and miles of landscaped paths.
