Education is one of the tenets of FirstService Residential Maryland, so we provide education and training to property managers, support teams and community Board members to help them effectively fulfill their responsibilities.  

Our Director of Education, experienced in adult education and training, as well as in community association management, leads our programs and creates an engaging and rewarding experience for our associates.

This property management training and support continues to develop leaders who deliver the highest levels of service to clients, vendors and colleagues.  

To further advance and hone the knowledge and skills of our community managers, we developed PM 101, a focused 35-course training course.  This well-rounded Manager Development Program offers a specialized curriculum comprised of four key components of community association management – Physical, Fiscal, Governance and Communication.  Students become well versed in the most up-to-date knowledge available in the industry – exactly what your community manager needs to lead and deliver outstanding service to your community.

And because we appreciate the personal time and commitment of your Board members, we support them with training in a variety of financial, legal and management and legislative topics to help them effectively serve your community.
