FirstService Residential Names Mark Stoops to Lead Georgia Operations
FirstService Residential, North America’s leading community association management company, has announced that Mark Stoops will serve as President of the company’s Georgia and North Florida operations.
Stoops, with more than 35 years of property management experience – two decades of which have been with FirstService Residential – has achieved tremendous success managing the 500+ communities in the company’s North Florida region. Stoops was also instrumental in developing the Destin, Gulf Shores, Perdido Key and Jacksonville markets.

Prior to venturing into the property management arena, Stoops worked as a leasing agent, and then district manager, for a multi-family rental business in the Atlanta area. He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University, as well as a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), a Real Estate Broker and a Licensed Community Association Manager (LCAM).
“I am looking forward to returning to Atlanta, where I started my career, and taking everything I’ve learned in the 35 years since to build on the great work that FirstService is already doing in the area,” said Stoops. “My goal is to continue to deliver the exceptional service we are known for, while growing the already-impressive list of communities we manage.”
Stoops will be relocating to the Atlanta area and will be based out of FirstService Residential’s Alpharetta office.
