FirstService Residential Hosting Free Leadership Seminar on the Responsibilities of Strata Council Members on November 15 in Vancouver
VANCOUVER, BC (November 9, 2017) – FirstService Residential, British Columbia’s leading property management company, is hosting a leadership seminar for strata corporations and council members exploring their roles and responsibilities for effective community management. This free event occurs at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017 at the Holiday Inn and Suites in Vancouver.
The seminar, which is open to any strata council members in the Metro Vancouver area, will cover the difference in responsibilities and decision-making between corporations, councils and the property management company, and provide a deeper understanding of strata law.
Sean Ingraham, Vice President of Community Development at FirstService Residential, will lead the hour-long information session. Strata experts Shannon Salter, Chair of the Civil Resolution Tribunal, Canada’s first online tribunal, and Veronica Franco, partner at the Vancouver law firm Clark Wilson LLP, will join him.
