The main responsibility of the Customer Service / Accounts Receivable Associate is to provide accounting support to property managers; be able to liaise with coworkers, supervisors and external clients.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be a highly motivated self-starter who will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the Accounts Receivable department by:
  • Responding to tenants and managers requests via phone and/or emails
  • Preparing Accounts Receivable reports and reviewing outstanding accounts
  • Entering charges, deposits, refunds, cancellations,
  • Preparing rent increase notices, collection and vacancy reports etc.
  • Reviewing and checking the set-up of the Pre-authorized Debit Plan
  • Preparing accounts payable vouchers as required
  • Some filing involved
 
The successful candidate works well with Supervisors, Managers, Colleagues and Clients by:

  • Possess a strong command of the English language and verbal and written communication skills

This role involves accuracy, ability to do high volume data entry and speed. The role is well suited for people with excellent clerical and customer service skills.
 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITY

  • Being able to maintain cordial and professional relationships with internal and external contacts
  • Excellent English Communication
  • Good level of accuracy and numeric typing speed
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Previous Customer Service and/or Clerical experience preferred

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

  • The ideal candidate must be numerically inclined.
  • Able to communicate clearly with both internal and external contacts. 
  • Proven combination of attention to detail with speed and efficiency are a must
