FirstService Residential, North America’s foremost property management firm is constantly looking for amazing Associates like you to join our ever growing Building Services Department.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

We have Live-In and Live-Out positions all over the lower Mainland.
  
We are looking for individuals with lots of energy, very organized and not afraid of challenges. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to think quick on his feet, problem solve and create great relationships by committing to enhancing the lifestyle of the communities we serve.
 
To be considered for these positions, you must have a minimum experience of 2 years in building management in some capacity.
 
We are looking for a person who is self-motivated, dependable, shows initiative, and works well with others
 

Salary and Benefits
  • We offer very competitive salaries.
  • For Live-In position, typically the suite will be at least 1/3 discounted from the regular market rent.
  • Extended medical and dental benefits after 3 months’ probation.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

Job Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written; ability to relate effectively with others
  • Experience corresponding through email, writing reports, creating spreadsheets, coding fob entry systems, keeping logs and other records,
  • Strong organization and planning skills, experience prioritizing tasks, dealing with trades and handling conflict
  • Ability to analyze situations and exercise sound judgement
  • Experience supervising others
  • Knowledge of building and mechanical systems and possessing basic handyman skills;
  • Knowledge of strata bylaws would be an asset
