Leadership

As President, Glenne Manlig is responsible for overseeing the teams that deliver the services and solutions of over 300 communities we manage in Alberta, comprising over 25,000 homes. Directly reporting into Glenne are leaders in operations, administration, accounting and human resources.

With 15 years of property management experience, Glenne is accountable for overall associate engagement, client retention and delivering on our promise of service excellence to our board of directors through living our core values every day.

Prior to this role, Glenne was an owner and operator of a boutique property management firm in Vancouver. During his time there, he led the company to significant growth through a comprehensive reorganization of the company. Glenne brings a strategic mindset, a focus on providing operational and service excellence and a commitment to enhancing the lives of the people and the communities that he serves.

As Vice President, Client Accounting for Western Canada, Karen Keebler is responsible for the management of the client accounting and financial services teams. In this role, she oversees the execution of clients’ financial reporting, budgets, and other accounting operations. She encourages improved client service and process efficiencies.

Karen has over 15 years of senior management experience in various industries. Prior to joining FirstService Residential, Karen held the position of Chief Financial Officer at a private construction subcontractor and before that, a public technology company.

Karen holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary and is a Chartered Accountant. She is a member of CPA Alberta.

Andrew serves as Regional Director for FirstService Residential. In this role, he is responsible for supporting community managers in their daily operations, while also ensuring that all onsite staff are delivering exceptional service to boards of directors and residents.

Andrew possesses extensive experience with strategic planning, contract negotiation, cost containment and contract and vendor management. A leader in corporate services with the commercial real estate sector for over 30 years, he has a proven record of providing customer first solutions. 

Before joining FirstService Residential, Andrew was General Manager Western Canada for a publicaly traded REIT. Andrew holds a B.Ed. from Concordia University in Montreal and is a licensed realtor and broker of record for FirstService Residential in Alberta.  

As Regional Director in Calgary, Lauren Larre Is responsible for a group of professional community managers, overseeing their day-to-day operations. A leader in the customer and client service field for 15 years, she has a proven record of building high performing teams that embrace customer service excellence.
 
Larre believes that it is important to constantly look for ways to improve our service to our customers. She asks herself daily, “how can I wow my clients today?” By focusing on this question, following through and owning each challenge she faces, she is able to foster and build great business relationships.
 
Before Larre joined FirstService Residential, she was a regional director for four provinces with Herbal Magic and also an area manager with Broadstreet Properties. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Saskatchewan.

Robert is the Regional Director in our Edmonton market. In this role, Robert is responsible for our overall business in Edmonton and strategically managing client relationships by providing business insights and expertise on client situations. Additionally, he is responsible for driving associate engagement by fostering an environment of ownership and accountability for our Edmonton team.

Robert is a Certified Property Manager CPM®, a licensed associate with RECA, and has over a decade of proven success in developing high-performing teams and operating successful ventures. His in-depth knowledge of residential and commercial property management, coupled with his servant leadership mindset, contributes significantly to our continued pursuit of growth and service excellence in Edmonton.

Before joining FirstService Residential, Robert held several senior manager roles with large property management firms managing portfolios throughout western Canada and the Northwest Territories.

As General Manager Investment Properties Alberta, Neil Fawcett oversees a portfolio of residential, multi-family, retail, commercial and rental property assets. Leading a dynamic team of property managers Neil’s 15 years of property management experience includes deep knowledge in residential and commercial properties.

Neil brings a strategic focus to his portfolio, combined with strong administrative skills, in-depth knowledge of contracts and property accounting, and excellent communication skills.

Neil is an alumni of St. Francis Xavier University, and holds his CPM® (Certified Property Manager and ARM® (Accredited Residential Manager). He also holds designations from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and an Associate License with the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA).

Neil is currently the President of the Real Estate Institute of Canada Calgary Chapter, and past co-chair of the awards committee with the Calgary Residential Association. In his spare time Neil volunteers on the lotteries committee with the Calgary Exhibition & Stampede.

As the Manager of Human Resources for FirstService Residential Alberta, Andrea Alexander is a strong advocate of the company’s values. She works closely with the leadership team and associates to provide support and guidance that align with business strategies and HR compliance needs. Her responsibilities include: recruiting, new employee orientation, performance management, payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations for more than 200 passionate individuals.

With over ten years of previous HR managerial experience in retail and sales-driven environments, Andrea has a depth of knowledge in leading highly efficient teams in both front and back office environments. Andrea holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Fleming College in Peterborough, Ontario.

As the Director of Business Development, Avery is responsible for the continued growth and strategy of FirstService Residential’s Market throughout Alberta. Avery has worked with FirstService Residential for the past three years.

Avery has completed a Bachelor of Communications degree through the University of Calgary as well as a certificate in Project Management. Having previously spent over 5 years working in accounting prior to her career change to property management, Avery has a vast amount of experience in accounting and account management. She has managed up to 50 monthly business accounts and has extensive knowledge in financial analysis, budgeting, and client relations.

Avery excels in building strong working relationships with a wide range of clientele including developers, board members, contractors and individual owners. She is extremely organized, detail oriented and has a proven track record in client retention.
