Kim Burgess Promoted to Director of Finance at Sun City Hilton Head
The Sun City Hilton Head Community Association is pleased to announce the promotion of Kim Burgess to Director of Finance. She previously served as the community’s Controller for more than a decade.
Ms. Burgess achieved her Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM), the highest Community Association designation, from the Community Association Institute earlier this year. In addition, she has been a certified public accountant for 27 years, is Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), and holds a masters degree from the University of South Carolina in accountancy.
“Kim is an incredible asset to the Sun City Hilton Head Community Association, and is the perfect fit for this new position,” said Executive Director Damon Williams. “Her long time working knowledge of the community will further elevate our on-site FirstService Residential team to provide top-notch service to residents.”
Ms. Burgess has been a mainstay in Sun City Hilton Head, joining the Association as the Controller 13 years ago. Prior to moving to the Lowcountry and working for Sun City Hilton Head, she worked at a textile manufacturing company in Greenville, South Carolina. She was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina.
