Abbott Enterprises, Inc. Changes Name to FirstService Residential
Name Change Part of North American Rebranding Effort Highlighting National Reach and Personalized Local Service
CHARLOTTE, NC (June 27, 2013) – The corporate headquarters of FirstService Residential has announced that its subsidiary, Abbott Enterprises, Inc., has been renamed FirstService Residential. This name change is part of FirstService Residential’s national rebranding effort, which took effect on June 27, 2013.
FirstService Residential is the largest manager of residential communities in North America, overseeing more than 6,000 properties and over1.5 million residential units.
The former Abbott Enterprises, Inc., an established leader in the North and South Carolina residential property management markets, manages a client portfolio of more than 75 community associations. It became a subsidiary of FirstService Residential in 2011.
“The success of our local operation, including how we service our clients, has benefited significantly from our longstanding partnership with FirstService Residential,” said Dennis Abbott, formerly CEO of Abbot Enterprises and now president of FirstService Residential Carolinas.
