TORONTO, ON: FirstService Residential, North America’s leading condominium management provider, is pleased to be title sponsor of Halton-Mississauga Region’s Habitat for Humanity’s Seventh Annual Golf Classic on July 8th at Lionhead Golf and Country Club. The event will raise funds and support for local families in need.

“We are thrilled and excited to partner with Habitat Halton-Mississauga as title sponsor for this year’s event” noted Todd Cooper, President of FirstService Residential. “Habitat Halton-Mississauga plays an integral role in our community in creating and enabling home ownership for families in need. Many of our associates look forward to participating on build projects this spring and summer, and in other volunteer support initiatives”.

"We're very excited to have FirstService Residential as our title sponsor for Habitat's 7th Annual Golf Classic," explained John Gerrard, CEO of Habitat for Humanity Halton-Mississauga. "Without the support of all of our local community partners, like FirstService Residential, our goal of raising $100,000 through the event to build a home for a local family would seem next to impossible. We're very excited take our Golf Classic to the next level with their help this year and try to make a greater difference throughout Peel and Halton regions."

Thanks to past participants and sponsors, past tournaments have been very successful in bringing together many community partners and businesses to raise funding for Habitat’s mission. This year, the group hopes to generate over $100K to “raise a roof” and sponsor the construction of a home for a local family in need.
