Boca Raton, Fla. (November 1, 2017) – FirstService Residential, North America’s premier community association management company, will take to the field on November 18th for a charity softball game. The 3rd Annual Homerun for Autism Charity Softball Game will be held at Roger Dean Stadium, 4751 Main Street, Jupiter, starting at 1:30 p.m.

FirstService Residential will take on Florida Power & Light (FPL) at 3:30 p.m. The winner of that game will advance to play the two-time defending champion John C. Cassidy Air Conditioning. Over the past two years, the event has raised more than $30,000 for The Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) at FAU.

“Year after year, we are blown away by everyone who comes out to support not only FirstService Residential, but more importantly, this very worthy cause,” said Christopher L. Pappas, senior vice president of FirstService Residential. “At FirstService Residential, our culture is driven by our commitment to enhancing the lives of our residents, which includes supporting the communities in which they live."

In addition to the softball games, attendees will enjoy family fun day activities, including face painting, bounce houses, autograph signings and entertainment. Admission is a minimum donation of $12, which includes food and beverage. Children 12 and younger are free. Attendees can receive $1 off if they bring school supplies to donate to CARD.

The Center for Autism and Related Disabilities at FAU is a community-based program providing assistance and support to people with autism spectrum disorder and related disabilities, their families, the professionals serving them and the community.
