The Miami Beach City Commission recently presented FirstService Residential associates Chris Hevia, Vice President, and Carole Lasker, Regional Director, both of the company’s South Florida High-Rise Division, with a certificate of recognition for their efforts in working with the Miami Beach Police Department to reduce crime and the potential for crime in FirstService Residential-managed community associations.
During the ceremony, Miami Beach Mayor Phil Levine said that FirstService Residential “has set the bar for safety and security in its properties on Miami Beach,” while Vice Mayor Michael Greico thanked Hevia and Lasker for their strong partnerships with the Miami Beach Police Department and the positive changes brought to the community.
“FirstService Residential seeks to build great relationships in each and every community we serve,” said Hevia. “Our team has been working with the police department on the enhancement of features such as lighting, access controls, and signage, as well as establishing policies and procedures. We have seen much success in increasing safety and enhancing the quality of life for our residents.”
