Participants Lace Up Their Running Shoes to Cure Retinal Degenerative Diseases

Associates from the Miami-Dade and Broward offices of FirstService Residential, formerly known as The Continental Group in Florida, banded together for the Hope For Vision’s annual 5K Run/Walk. The event took place at the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk on Sunday, September 22.

The company sponsored the majority of its associates’ entry fees, and several employees contributed money to the cause. As the second-highest contributor, FirstService Residential raised $1,435 for the cause.

About Hope For Vision
Hope For Vision is dedicated to funding the development of treatments and cures for blinding diseases.
Its goal is to make 20/20 Vision by 2020 a reality for everyone.  Hope For Vision provides the tools necessary
for people to come together to share their common interest in this cause and to work together to raise funds for
this critical research.  HFV is comprised of thousands of dedicated volunteers and vision advocates in
Communities of Hope across the country, who raise funds through special events and other activities.
Guided by its Board of Visionary Scientists, HFV then distributes over 90 percent of funds raised directly
to researchers at leading medical institutions nationwide.  Since 2005, HFV Communities of Hope have hosted
over 30 events raising millions for sight-saving research. For more information, visit www.hopeforvision.org.
